About The Position

The National Account Sales Manager serves as the primary business contact for new and existing large multi­ site customers for MANN+HUMMEL - Air Filtration Americas and is responsible for increased profitable revenue by developing and maintaining long-term relationships to promote, support and sell Air Filtration products.

Requirements

  • BS in Business, Marketing, or related field
  • Minimum 7 years' experience selling into HVAC, air filtration or similar channels preferred
  • Previous experience using Salesforce.com, or a similar CRM preferred
  • Organized and detailed oriented
  • Excellent time management skills, able to meet deadlines, calendar management
  • Strong financial background and strategic orientation
  • Strong technical background and varied product experience
  • Successful demonstrated sales experience
  • Creative problem-solving skills
  • Independent thinking and self-starter with excellent communication skills
  • Ability to represent company goals while maintaining excellent relationship with customer base
  • Ability to travel approximately 50% in USA and Canada
  • Competency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Teams, Power point, Word)

Responsibilities

  • Manage a territory of $30M-$50M in sales by providing excellent customer service and support that enables profitable growth from existing and new channel partners by attaining client and company goals.
  • Negotiate and manage client contracts and agreements including commercial terms, price, and support.
  • Collaborate with clients to ensure purchase forecasts are aligned with production schedules.
  • Responsible for the daily management of all accounts within the sales organization, while aggressively pursuing new growth opportunities - both within existing customers, as well as new customers.
  • Collaborate with internal and client Marketing, Product Management teams to develop strategies and drive execution.
  • Develops in-depth presentations to ensure the achievement of the customers' and company business objectives, business review.
  • Analyze the client's business in relation to the market to develop tactical sales plans to achieve the customers and company growth and profit objectives.
  • Responsible for the accurate and timely consolidation of analysis and insight into consistent, actionable formats and the communication of the findings to the account team and customer - a field action plan.
  • Accountable for assigned business segment budget and ensures all budgets are managed within policies and budgetary requirements.
  • Identifies and analyzes business trends utilizing syndicated data, account profitability and category information.
  • Provide regular updates to the Sales Director concerning both current and new potential customer account activities.
  • Able to work collaboratively with Sales Director, Account Manager and Coordinator to align on what is needed to provide excellent customer experience.
  • Travel 50% of time for face-to-face meetings to present ideas and tactics, troubleshoot issues, define growth targets, and achieve the annual business plan.
