About The Position

The Manager of National Accounts Sales & Business Development plays a pivotal role in driving the growth and profitability of the wholesale trade division by managing and expanding relationships with key national accounts across the United States. This position is responsible for developing strategic sales plans that align with company objectives and market trends, ensuring sustained revenue growth and competitive positioning. The role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams including marketing, operations, and product management to deliver tailored solutions that meet client needs and enhance customer satisfaction. The manager will lead negotiations, contract renewals, and business development initiatives to maximize account potential and identify new market opportunities. Ultimately, this role is critical in establishing long-term partnerships that contribute to the company’s overall success and market leadership in the wholesale trade industry.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales or business development within the wholesale trade industry.
  • Proven track record of managing large national accounts and achieving sales targets.
  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain professional relationships.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to coordinate product offerings, pricing strategies, and promotional activities tailored to national accounts.
  • Lead contract negotiations, renewals, and ensure compliance with agreed terms and conditions.

  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Prepare and present regular sales forecasts, reports, and performance metrics to senior management.
