About The Position

Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship, now or in the future.  This position is based in Charlotte, NC or Atlanta, GA. Duties and Responsibilities   A typical day may include: Develop and implement business plans to grow business in the channel for customers and the company. Proactively identify opportunities for channel expansion and innovation. Develop and implement annual account business plans; maintain and develop customer relationships and clear communication across functions & business unit. Communicate project updates, business performance and proactively establish corrective action if/when necessary Act as a principal consultant to customers and the business unit in relation to industry knowledge, market research and education. Responsible for managing, forecasting, attaining and exceeding identified monthly, quarterly and yearly sales volume goals. Conduct internal and external business reviews to measure, evaluate and present sales performance of the channel. Complete competitive market assessments understand opportunities and create unique customer connections within the channel.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field preferred.
  • 3 to 5 years related sales experience; prefer experience managing Lowe’s & Home Depot.
  • Proven track record in strategic sales / business management – strong conceptual skills.
  • Progressively responsible sales roles with proven leadership abilities.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills required.
  • Strong time management and organization skills required.
  • Strong technical product knowledge preferred.
  • Proven ability to analyze markets and competitive trends.
  • Ability to operate with high sense of urgency and personal initiative and respond to multiple deadlines while maintaining good coordination and communication with colleagues and staff.
  • Passionate commitment to quality, follow through and high attention to detail.
  • Must have the ability to travel up to 50% of the time; frequently requiring overnight stays.
