About The Position

Arch’s internship program offers students a unique opportunity to gain hands on experience in the insurance industry. It provides challenging learning experiences that serve as a foundation for interns to explore their career choices and to develop professional skills. Working alongside some of the most talented members of the specialty insurance industry, interns will gain relevant expertise in various aspects of the field, participate in learning activities and receive ongoing feedback. Gain exposure to National Accounts Casualty (NAC), including: Workers' compensation. General and product liability. Automobile liability. Contribute to NAC Underwriting tasks including: Assist with underwriting and pricing products. Complete financial analysis. Complete exposure analysis. Review policy contracts and ratings. Review claims. Support brokers and customers.

Requirements

Actively completing bachelor's degree in Risk Management & Insurance, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Liberal Arts, Business Administration, Marketing, or related program.
Minimum 3.0 GPA or higher.
College level - current Junior or Senior student, with graduation dates ranging from December 2027 - May 2028.
Strong proficiency in understanding financial statements.
Exemplary written and verbal communication skills.
Strong presentation and public speaking skills.
Strong analytical skillset, with a keen ability to think through issues
Entrepreneurial spirit along with the desire to be a continuous learner.
Team player who collaborates effectively.
Self-starter who can work independently and deal effectively with multiple tasks/priorities in a fast-paced environment.
