About The Position

The purpose of the National Accounts Manager is the day-to-day oversight of a portfolio of National Accounts of the Ben E. Keith General Office. Interact with customer corporate contacts. Maintain dotted line responsibility to the branch level National Account personnel to fulfill the obligations of the agreement and facilitate customer needs. Manage all account KPI’s and manage General Office administrative personnel to execute pricing agreements and order guides. Review/report key performance indicator’s Account penetration opportunities Gross profit management A/R management Manage dead/obsolete inventory Manage inventory process: New item introduction and LTO product introduction/monitoring Manage account profitability Manage product recalls/quality assurance issues Consult with the General Office Senior National Accounts Manager and the Director of Purchasing Consult with the following Branch Managers: General Managers, Assistant General Managers, National Account Managers, Transportation/Operations Managers, Directors of Purchasing, Category Managers, Purchasing Managers and Inventory Control Managers Consult with the Customer V.P./Director of Purchasing, Customer Distribution Managers, Customer Purchasing Staff, Customer Corporate Culinary Personnel, Customer Operations Management, Customer Field Level Management, Customer A/P Management, Customer IT Management and DMA Management/Staff

Requirements

  • 8-10 years industry sales experience
  • Purchasing experience (BEK preferred)
  • Previous sales and purchasing experience within BEK system
  • Strong communication skills and ability to interact with multiple department directors/managers
  • Proficient in KBIT, On Board Computer Systems/Features, E Advantage, Keith Net, Customer KBIT, KRIS, GUI and Microsoft Office
  • Bachelor’s Degree Preferred
