About The Position

As the National Account Salesperson, you'll work closely with teams in operations, service, marketing, finance/accounting, and field sales to build strong relationships with top national account clients. Your responsibilities will include increasing sales, providing high-quality account management, and designing strategic growth plans to ensure lasting business partnerships and increased profitability.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or industry experience/or related sales experience.
  • 3-5+ years of progressive sales experience, with a proven track record of exceeding sales targets in the B2B national/key accounts space.
  • Proficient at finding, developing, and growing profitable national account customers/relationships.
  • Excellent strategic thinking, communication, and negotiation skills, with the ability to lead by influence and build strong relationships at all levels.
  • Ability to travel up to 50%.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of the commercial paving or construction industry is strongly preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Sales Planning
  • Develop, execute, and facilitate a comprehensive sales strategy that aligns with the company’s growth and profitability objectives aligned with market trends.
  • Partner with senior leadership to identify new business opportunities, target markets, and potential partnerships.
  • Analyze market data, customer feedback, and competitor activity to adjust sales strategies and tactics as needed.
  • Ensure consistent sales forecasting, pipeline management, and accurate reporting.
  • Customer Relationship Management
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders to drive long-term business growth.
  • Support the sales team in negotiating contracts and closing deals, ensuring the best possible outcomes for both the company and the customer.
  • Leverage CRM tools and processes to enhance customer engagement and sales effectiveness.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Work closely with marketing, operations, and finance teams to align sales efforts with broader company goals and strategies.
  • Provide feedback and insights to product and service teams to improve offerings based on customer needs and market demand.
