As a National Account Manager, you will develop new prospects and engage existing customers to increase sales of HVAC products and services across large national accounts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • At least 1 year of related experience.
  • Up to 50% travel.
  • Strong abilities with building relationships, listening, persuading, negotiating, and managing time.
  • Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services. This includes marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration, sales techniques, and sales control systems.
  • Knowledge principles and processes for providing customer service. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
  • Effective at written and verbal communication.
  • Intermediate industry and product knowledge.
  • Must be able to use Microsoft Office and Customer Relationship Management software.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in growing sales by targeting existing and prospective national accounts.
  • Select the correct products or assist customers in making product selections based on customers' needs, product specifications, and applicable regulations.
  • Participate in negotiation of prices and terms of sales and service agreements.
  • Ensure high post-sales satisfaction to build positive long-term relationships and strong potential for repeat business.
  • Participate in account and territory plans at the annual, quarterly, and monthly levels.
