CACI is looking for an experienced Spacecraft Electrical Power System (EPS) Engineer to work with NASA on its U.S. Deorbit Vehicle to safely deorbit the International Space Station (ISS) when retired. This system engineering position involves insight/oversight of human-rated space vehicles specializing in the electrical power systems that encompass energy generation, energy storage, and power distribution systems. Typical areas of focus will be verification and validation of ISS power quality requirements, ISS visiting vehicle requirements, fault management, mission sequencing, etc. This work requires collaboration with Commercial Spacecraft prime development contractors. This position requires a self-starting, capable person with strong verbal and written communication skills. In addition to outstanding technical expertise, the individual must possess strong customer relationship skills, have a positive team-player attitude, and be flexible and willing to take on new assignments and responsibilities as they arise. Finally, the most qualified candidate will be an articulate speaker able to communicate technical ideas in an effective manner, must share our passion for our Nation's Space Program, and share in the excitement of human-rated space vehicles.
