About The Position

This is a Machine Operator position on the 1st shift in the Napkins Department. The primary duty is to effectively operate and monitor machines in the production department.

Requirements

Ability to work as a team leader.
Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and work in a fast paced distribution environment.
Ability to communicate with management and coworkers in order to meet departmental goals.
Ability to understand written and oral instructions.
Ability to perform basic math.

Nice To Haves

Continued education preferred.
1 year prior experience and/or training in the distribution/manufacturing environment preferred.

Responsibilities

Starts, stops, and clears jams from the equipment.
Changes labels or wrapper film as needed.
Maintains product quality.
Accurately completes required paperwork and cycle counts.
Exhibits a professional manner in dealing with others, and works to maintain constructive working relationships.
A commitment to company-wide quality and safety is required.
Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
