About The Position
The College of Engineering's Center for Nanotechnology Education and Utilization is seeking applicants for a part-time Nanotechnology Instructor during the summer 2026 semester. The instruction will be in person on the University Park campus, starting in mid-May and ending the first week of August.
Requirements
- Minimum Master's Degree in Nanotechnology or closely related field
- Experience with Vacuum systems, nano fabrication equipment and characterization techniques required
- Good communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment required
Responsibilities
- Assist with teaching the Nanofabrication Manufacturing Technology capstone program during the summer semester
- Grading of exams, homework and group projects
- Instruct hands-on nanotechnology labs in a cleanroom environment
