About The Position
Seeking a high-energy, dependable self-starter to lead a summer of fun for two boys, ages 7 and 11, in Chanhassen, MN. The ideal candidate will be a proactive caregiver who loves the outdoors and can plan engaging daily activities. This is a full-time position with a commitment of at least one year. Responsibilities include active play, transportation to summer camps, and light household support related to the children.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.
- Minimum of 2 years paid childcare experience.
- Reliable & Punctual: Someone we can count on daily.
- Proactive: Ability to take initiative and "own" the daily schedule.
- Water-Safe: Comfortable supervising kids at the lake and pool.
Nice To Haves
- Ability to plan engaging daily activities.
- Loves the outdoors.
Responsibilities
- Active Play: Taking boys swimming at our beach/lake, biking to local parks, and creative indoor play.
- Manage daily reading for each boy 15 mins.
- Transportation: Driving kids to and from a few summer camps.
- Household Support: First priority is managing children, if there is time we would love to have help with children’s laundry, light tidying, and family meal prep.
