Full-Time Nanny | Squirrel Hill
About The Position
This is a full-time nanny position in Squirrel Hill, Pittsburgh, PA, starting at the end of August. The role guarantees 40 hours per week with specific daily hours from Monday to Friday. The hourly rate is between $25-$30. The nanny will care for a 9-month-old baby and interact with a family dog. The family is seeking a loving, reliable, and long-term nanny who can become part of their team. Mom works from home and requires focused, uninterrupted work time. Dad is in a CEO role and needs home support. The parents are looking for someone who can help the household run smoothly, engage in developmentally focused care for the baby, encourage new skills, play, go for walks, read books, help create a routine, and assist with tasks during nap time such as bottle washing, laundry, light tidying, vacuuming/sweeping, and simple dinner prep. The role also involves helping to maintain the mother's early morning routine. Flexibility, common sense, and clear communication are highly valued. Grandma will assist a couple of days a month. The family plans to keep their child out of daycare until at least age 2.5, space future children a few years apart, and hope to find someone who grows with their family. They are looking for a genuinely invested nanny with heart, humor, and a team-player mindset.
Requirements
- Must have a driver's license.
- Must have a vehicle.
- Must have a clean driving record.
- Previous nanny experience for a minimum of 2 years.
