About The Position
A family in Pittsburgh, PA 15212 is seeking a dependable, punctual, and engaging part-time nanny to provide before-school care for their 5-year-old child during the school year. The family is looking for someone who can help establish a smooth morning routine and ensure their child arrives safely at school each day. The schedule is Monday-Friday from 7:30 AM to 9:15 AM, with occasional afternoons as needed. The home is smoke-free and has one dog and one cat. Responsibilities include helping prepare the child for school, providing occasional homework support, safely transporting or walking the child to school, and fostering a positive morning routine.
Requirements
- Prior childcare experience preferred
- Valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle
- Comfortable providing occasional transportation using a personal vehicle (car seat provided and installed by the family)
- Dependable, organized, and punctual
- Proof of legal authorization to work in the United States
Responsibilities
- Help prepare the child for school, including dressing, brushing teeth, and hair care
- Provide occasional homework support as needed
- Safely transport or walk the child to school by 9:00 AM
- Return the car seat to the home before leaving if driving
- Foster a positive and supportive morning routine
