Full Time / Part Time Nanny
About The Position
Jovie is seeking engaging, creative, fun, and flexible individuals to join their on-call team as a back-up nanny. This position is ideal for those with previous experience as a babysitter, daycare worker, nanny, or church nursery volunteer, as well as retired teachers. The role offers a flexible schedule that can accommodate school, family, or other part-time commitments. As a back-up nanny, you will provide care for children ranging from infants through toddlers in their homes, with the highest demand for care for children under the age of 2. Responsibilities include ensuring child safety and leading hands-on activities based on age-appropriate development. No household duties are required beyond cleaning up after your activities or meals with the child, and you will not be required to transport children.
Requirements
- At least 18 years old
- Experience working with children, paid or unpaid
- Infant experience mandatory
- Reliable transportation
- Willingness and ability to travel to various homes throughout the area
- Available any 3 or more weekdays for 6 - 8 hour shifts between 7 am and 7 pm
- Commitment to be communicative and responsive to the staffing supervisor
