About The Position

A family in Fair Haven is seeking an energetic and dedicated nanny to assist with the care of their newborn as the mother transitions back to work. The position entails working on Mondays and Fridays from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Hours on Mondays and Fridays are flexible and may be shortened if needed. Flexibility regarding schedule adjustments is appreciated, as work hours may vary based on the parents' commitments. The ability to travel with the family is a valued benefit, as they frequently undertake trips. The ideal nanny for this household is active, prioritizes learning and outside play, is able to minimize screen time as the child grows, sticks to a schedule, and who is going to grow with the family over time. The family has hopes of growing a healthy family into the future. These expecting first-time parents are busy individuals and are planning on being very scheduled. Mom is a welcoming, resilient, social extrovert who is 50% Type A and 50% Type B. Dad is introverted and analytical, more detail oriented, structured. The baby is due August 24th. These parents are excited about meeting her, and they hope as the baby grows, there’s someone to help her explore the outside world while also keeping structure and the baby happy, healthy and joyful. Applicants will be subject to various background screens and must be able to provide valid work and childcare references.
