About The Position
A warm, experienced, and confident nanny is sought for a 6-month-old infant in Dunwoody, Georgia. The ideal candidate will have strong infant experience and be comfortable caring for a larger baby who is meeting milestones such as sitting with assistance, is formula-fed, and beginning purees. The family is working toward establishing a consistent daily schedule, including three naps per day, and would value a nanny who can gently guide routines, particularly around sleep, as the child currently wakes early and can be a bit fussy or sensitive at times. The nanny should be nurturing and patient, willing to hold and rock as needed, while also bringing a steady, capable presence to the home. Experience with reflux, eczema, and specialized formula is important. Reliability, professionalism, and strong judgment are essential, as the family highly values safety and consistency after a previous nanny was not dependable. The position also includes light household support related to the child, such as preparing purees as he transitions to solids. There are two dogs in the home, so comfort with pets is required, including letting them out and feeding them lunch when parents are not home. One parent works from home part of the week.
