About The Position

A warm and active Lincoln Park family is seeking an experienced, professional Nanny Manager to support their three school-age children (ages 10, 8, and 6) and help keep their busy household running smoothly. This is a long-term temporary position anticipated to last approximately six months. This role is an equal blend of childcare and family assistant/household management responsibilities and is ideal for a proactive, highly organized individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The family is looking for a dependable, adaptable professional who can become a true extension of the household. The ideal candidate will be warm, energetic, collaborative, and confident managing day-to-day household logistics while providing exceptional care and support for the children. The children attend school during the academic year and camps throughout the summer. Flexibility is important, as schedules may occasionally change and additional hours may be needed with advance notice. There may also be occasional opportunities to travel with the family.

Requirements

• Significant experience as both a nanny and household manager/family assistant
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work successfully alongside a work-from-home parent
• Professional, reliable, discreet, and proactive
• Comfortable managing multiple priorities and changing schedules
• Warm, energetic personality with a positive attitude
• Safe, confident driver with a clean driving record
• Comfortable driving children using the family vehicle
• CPR Certification required
• Flu and Tdap vaccinations required
• Comfort around dogs is essential

Responsibilities

• School pick-up and drop-off
• Transporting children to and from activities, appointments, and events
• Communicating with schools, teachers, and activity providers
• Preparing healthy snacks and simple meals for the children
• Supporting evening routines, including baths and bedtime preparation
• Creating structure and maintaining consistent routines
• Providing attentive, engaging care and age-appropriate support
• Managing day-to-day household logistics and schedules
• Coordinating appointments, activities, and calendars
• Grocery shopping and household errands
• Unpacking and organizing groceries
• Maintaining organization throughout the home
• Light tidying and resetting common areas
• Putting away children's laundry following housekeeping services
• Coordinating and overseeing household vendors and service providers
• Restocking household supplies
• Managing returns and exchanges
• Replying to emails and making phone calls on behalf of the family
• Assisting with scheduling appointments and household administrative tasks
• Scheduling dog walker visits
• Coordinating appointments
• Occasional dog walks as needed
