About The Position
We are seeking a dependable, experienced, and highly flexible Housekeeper / Nanny to join our private household team. This is not a traditional part-time position. We are looking for someone who can adapt to the changing needs of an active family and is comfortable with a flexible, ever-changing schedule. This position requires exceptional flexibility. Part-time, non-exempt position. Hours vary from week to week based on the family's needs. Weekend availability is required. Occasional overnight stays are required. Additional hours may be available in any given week. Must be available to work evenings, holidays, and extended hours as needed. Occasional travel with the family may be required. Applicants seeking a fixed or guaranteed weekly schedule are not likely to be a good fit for this role. We are looking for someone who is warm, positive, and patient, detail-oriented and proactive, flexible and adaptable, reliable and punctual, comfortable in a busy, dynamic household, and committed to providing exceptional care while maintaining a high standard of household organization.
Requirements
- Dependable, trustworthy, and highly organized
- Excellent communication and professionalism
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Able to maintain strict confidentiality
Nice To Haves
- Previous nanny and/or private housekeeping experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide attentive, loving care for children.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming home.
- Assist with laundry, light meal preparation, and household organization.
- Help with school pickups, activities, errands, and appointments.
- Work alongside the House Manager and other household staff to keep the home running smoothly.
