About The Position

A family in Short Hills, NJ is seeking a dedicated, compassionate, and experienced full-time Morning Nanny and Family Cook to join their household. With three children, ages 8, 6 and 4, their family requires a nanny who can integrate into their daily routine and work collaboratively with the rest of their household staff to ensure comprehensive childcare coverage and support for the family. The role is Monday through Friday with childcare responsibilities. The schedule is 6:45am-2:45pm (on school days, requested to stay until 3:30pm and paid as overtime). The days involve getting the children ready for school and doing drop off, being available when they have days off of school and preparing family meals for the week. Infrequent earlier morning, evening and weekend work may be required to properly support the family. By engaging two full time nannies, they have created a child-care team to help support two working professionals. They ask that each nanny be available in the unexpected instances the other is sick to help provide back-up full coverage as needed. Thy also ask that time off requests should be made with as much advance notice as possible so they can coordinate with the other Nanny to provide coverage.
