About The Position
We are seeking a flexible and knowledgeable Nails Teacher to serve as a substitute instructor. In this role, you will temporarily cover classes in nail technology, delivering instruction on manicure, pedicure, nail art, health and sanitation, and other essential skills. You will maintain continuity of education and ensure a positive learning environment for students during the regular instructor’s absence.
Requirements
- Valid Cosmetology License and Nail Technician License in the state of Indiana.
- Experience working in the nail industry, demonstrating proficiency in nail care techniques.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt quickly and effectively in a substitute teaching role.
- Availability to work on short notice as needed.
Nice To Haves
- Beauty of Culture Educator License is preferred or must be willing to obtain.
- Prior teaching or instructing experience is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Provide effective instructional support by delivering lessons aligned with the existing curriculum.
- Conduct practical demonstrations and hands-on training in nail technology.
- Assess student progress and provide feedback where appropriate.
- Maintain classroom order and encourage student participation and creativity.
- Adhere to all health and safety standards, as well as school policies.
- Communicate effectively with staff and administration regarding class progress and issues.
