About The Position
Tricoci University of Beauty Culture is an established leader in beauty education, dedicated to preparing students for successful careers in various beauty disciplines. We are looking for a skilled and adaptable Nails Substitute Teacher to join our educational team. In this role, you will step in as needed to provide instruction in nail technology, ensuring that students continue to receive a high-quality education in the absence of their regular teacher. You will maintain a positive learning environment and motivate students to engage with their coursework. By becoming a Nails Substitute Teacher at Tricoci University, you will be part of a supportive education team dedicated to excellence in beauty training. This position allows you to share your expertise while gaining valuable teaching experience in a collaborative environment.
Requirements
- Valid Cosmetology License and Nail Technician License in the state of Indiana.
- Must possess a valid Beauty of Culture Educator License in the state of Indiana.
- Prior experience in the nail industry with a demonstrated skill set is required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to student success and the ability to create a positive learning environment.
- Flexibility to work on an as-needed basis, with availability for various shifts.
Nice To Haves
- Teaching or substitute teaching experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and effective lessons in nail technology, covering both theoretical knowledge and practical skills.
- Provide hands-on instruction and demonstrations of various nail care techniques.
- Support student learning by offering constructive feedback and guidance on their performance.
- Foster a respectful and inclusive classroom atmosphere that promotes creativity and collaboration.
- Adapt lesson plans to meet the needs of diverse learners and ensure alignment with the curriculum.
- Enforce safety and sanitation practices in line with industry standards.
