About The Position

Waldorf Astoria Chicago is hiring a part-time Nail Technician for its spa in the Gold Coast neighborhood of Chicago. The hotel is a AAA Five-Diamond, Forbes 4-Star property with 215 rooms, meeting space, and four food and beverage outlets.

The Nail Technician provides professional nail care treatments and creates memorable guest experiences through warm, attentive hospitality. The role includes delivering nail services in line with the spa menu, guest preferences, quality standards, and health requirements; maintaining clean and sanitized work areas and equipment; managing product and tool supplies; supporting daily spa operations; and completing required documentation.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly and professionally to guest inquiries, requests, and concerns to provide an exceptional spa experience.
• Perform manicures, pedicures, polish applications, acrylics, paraffin treatments, and other nail services according to the spa menu, guest preferences, and established quality and health standards.
• Keep workstations, tools, and equipment clean and sanitized in compliance with regulatory and guest service standards.
• Monitor nail care product and tool inventory, ensuring adequate stock and proper storage.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of nail care techniques, tools, and products.
• Assist with general spa duties as needed to support daily operations.
• Accurately complete required records related to services, sanitation, and regulatory compliance.
