About The Position
The Nail Technician is responsible for providing exceptional nail care services to clients, ensuring a positive and professional spa experience. This role involves consulting with clients, performing various nail treatments, maintaining a sanitary work environment, and adhering to spa standards. The position requires excellent customer service skills, creativity, and a commitment to staying updated on beauty trends.
Requirements
- Graduation from high school or the equivalent in education or experience.
- Completion of a state-approved cosmetology or nail technician program.
- Demonstrated experience working in a spa or salon.
- Demonstrated experience performing within specific deadlines or under pressure.
- Must hold a valid Colorado Nail Technician or Cosmetology license as required by the state.
- Demonstrated effective and diplomatic oral and written communication skills using English.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Creativity and an eye for detail.
- Desire to perform exceptional nail care coupled with a fantastic guest experience.
Nice To Haves
- Preferred one (1) or more years of recent and related salon or spa experience.
Responsibilities
- Consult with clients about their needs and preferences, providing recommendations on services and products.
- Perform manicure and pedicure treatments, including applying polish, acrylics, and other nail enhancements.
- Provide friendly and professional service to all guests and employees.
- Understand and relay information regarding the menu of services and products sold.
- Answer guest questions regarding the spa.
- Remain up to date on Nail Technician or Cosmetologist license renewal.
- Stay up to date with various nail beauty trends.
- Perform up to 6 treatments daily.
- Ensure adherence to Chamonix Spa Salon guest service and journey rules.
- Maintain and follow Chamonix Spa Salon luxury standards.
- Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment.
- Maintain compliance with all safety standards, health standards, and internal policies and procedures.
- Regular and reliable attendance, being punctual and consistently present during scheduled work hours.
- Perform special projects as needed.
