Role Overview: We are seeking a Night Nail Substitute Teacher to provide exceptional instruction in nail technology during evening hours. This substitute position plays a crucial role in maintaining the continuity of education and ensuring a positive, engaging experience for students when the regular instructor is unavailable. In support of the pay transparency laws enacted across the country, the expected salary range for this position is between $22.00 and $24.00/hr. Actual pay will be adjusted based on job-related factors permitted by law, such as experience and training; geographic location; licensure and certifications; market factors; departmental budgets; and responsibility.
Requirements
- Valid Cosmetology License and Nail Technician License in the applicable state.
- Current Educator License or eligibility to obtain one in the state of employment.
- Experience in professional nail technology is essential.
- Strong communication and classroom management skills.
- Ability to work night shifts and adapt to flexible scheduling needs.
- Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Nice To Haves
- Previous teaching or substitute teaching experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Deliver effective and engaging nail technology lessons during night classes, covering both theory and practical applications.
- Demonstrate nail care techniques, including manicures, pedicures, nail enhancements, and nail art.
- Provide individualized feedback and support to help students develop their skills and confidence.
- Foster a safe, organized, and respectful classroom atmosphere conducive to learning.
- Ensure compliance with all sanitation and safety regulations within the classroom and lab environments.
- Adapt to scheduling needs and collaborate with faculty for seamless instructional coverage during absences.
