About The Position

The Spa at Holbrook Nail Technician performs various nail care techniques and spa treatments for high-end clients, maintaining pristine treatment areas and handling client consultations and aftercare recommendations. Key responsibilities include performing all nail care service offerings on the menu, assessing client needs, adhering to spa protocols and sanitation standards, recommending nail care products, maintaining their client retention rates, and ensuring a comfortable, luxurious client experience. They also manage administrative tasks such as updating client profiles and maintaining inventory. Represents the know-how, attention to detail and elegance of The Spa at Holbrook. Responsibilities

Perform all nail care service offerings on the menu.
Conduct thorough client consultations to understand individual health histories, preferences, and any specific concerns or conditions.
Tailor nail care treatments based on the client’s needs and preferences.
Perform a variety of nail care techniques.
Administer specialized hand and foot treatments.
Demonstrate technical proficiency in various nail care modalities, staying updated on industry trends and innovations.
Utilize knowledge of nail anatomy and physiology to address specific client concerns.
Understand nail structure, bacteriology, and hygiene for sanitation, and the chemistry of nail products like gels and acrylics.
Maintain knowledge of nail diseases and disorders to identify problems and provide proper care.
Ensure treatment rooms are clean, well-stocked, and prepared for each client.
Create a tranquil and comfortable environment conducive to relaxation.
Maintain treatment area that adheres to all Georgia State Board of Cosmetology regulations.
Stay informed about nail care products and the applications of nail enhancement products to suit diverse client needs.
Educate clients on the benefits of different products and recommend home care routines.
Provide clients with information on post-treatment care to provide the most informed advice for nail health.
Offer advice on lifestyle changes that may enhance the benefits of spa treatments.
Maintain a 75%-85% rebooking rate.
Make recommendations for Club and Spa Memberships.
Adhere to strict health and safety protocols, including cleanliness, sanitation, and proper use of equipment.
Maintain a hygienic and safe environment for both clients and staff.
Adheres to OSHA, ADA, and Georgia State Board of Cosmetology standards.
Follows EPA-approved disinfectant protocols and state sanitation laws.
Complies with OSHA Bloodborne Pathogens Standard 29 CFR 1910.1030.
Ensures visible cleanliness and reinforces client confidence during all nail treatments.
Make recommendations of additional spa services or retail products based on the client’s needs and preferences.
Contribute to the achievement of sales targets through effective communication and product knowledge.
Pursue continuing education opportunities to enhance skills and stay informed about new nail care techniques and therapies.
Participates in professional and sensory-awareness training aligned with Holbrook’s Five-Star Service Standards.
Attend workshops, training sessions, and industry conferences.
Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, fostering a sense of trust and comfort.
Solicit and respond to client feedback to ensure continuous improvement.
Maintain a client retention rate of 75% - 85% for repeat clients and 50– 70%% for first time clients.
Maintain rebooking rate of 75% - 85%.
Collaborate with other spa team members, including estheticians, salon professionals, massage therapists, wellness consultants, and concierge staff, to provide a cohesive and integrated spa experience.
Attendance and arrivals are timely to ensure client and treatment area preparation are on point.
If you need time off, you must acquire another team member to cover your schedule.
Demonstrate cultural sensitivity and adapt nail care techniques to meet the diverse needs of our clients.
Warmly greet each client by name and offer a beverage or comfort item.
Maintain calm and elegant atmosphere throughout each service.
Conclude with a personalized farewell and future service recommendation.
