Part Time Nabisco Merchandiser
About The Position
Part-time Retail Merchandiser for Mondelēz International, supporting in-store execution for brands including Oreo, Ritz, belVita, Chips Ahoy!, and Triscuit. The role involves stocking shelves, rotating products, building and maintaining displays, and supporting seasonal launches and promotional events. Merchandisers visit assigned stores, follow schedules and priorities set by their Retail Territory Manager (RTM), and use digital tools to document display execution and share store-level information. The position requires working independently in a physically active, fast-paced environment and traveling by personal vehicle to multiple store locations. The primary location is Mt. Laurel, New Jersey, with a secondary location in Cinnaminson, New Jersey. Saturday and Sunday availability is required.
Requirements
- At least 18 years of age.
- Valid driver's license issued by the state of residence.
- Ability to drive a personal vehicle with valid insurance to multiple store locations; mileage is reimbursed.
- Ability to work independently with a positive, professional attitude and self-motivation.
- Ability to perform repetitive lifting, bending, and carrying up to 25 pounds, and occasionally pushing and pulling over 50 pounds.
- Availability to work Saturdays and Sundays.
- Ability to live within 25–35 miles of the primary location in Mt. Laurel, New Jersey.
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or GED; alternatively, the candidate may earn a GED while gaining skills.
- One to three years of experience in retail or consumer goods.
- Experience with shelf stocking, product rotation, and display execution.
- Comfort using mobile tools and applications to follow schedules and capture display photos.
- Ability to build trust with store personnel and communicate effectively with RTMs and teammates.
- Adaptability, initiative, organization, and effective time and task management.
Responsibilities
- Represent Mondelēz in stores with professionalism and positivity.
- Provide customer service to store teams and shoppers.
- Conduct store visits according to DSD Merchandising Principles and capture display photos using the Digital Merchandising Initiative (DMI).
- Build and maintain relationships with store personnel, including backroom receivers.
- Stock shelves, rotate products, and maintain brand standards.
- Implement promotional displays and ensure compliance with plans negotiated by the Retail Territory Manager (RTM).
- Follow daily schedules and priorities set by the RTM.
- Support seasonal sales, new product launches, and high-visibility merchandising events.
- Communicate store-level insights, issues, and opportunities to the RTM and retail team via Salesforce.
- Safely move products from stockrooms to sales floors and stock shelves.
