About The Position

Part-time merchandisers represent Mondelēz International in retail stores and help ensure its snack brands are stocked, displayed, and ready for shoppers. The role includes scheduled store visits, shelf stocking and product rotation, display setup, support for seasonal launches and promotions, and maintaining positive relationships with store teams. Merchandisers follow priorities set by their Retail Territory Manager (RTM), capture display photos using DMI, and communicate store-level insights and issues through Salesforce. The position requires physical work, including moving products from stockrooms to store floors and stocking shelves. The primary location is Thousand Oaks, California, with secondary locations in Simi Valley and Moorpark. Candidates must live within 25 miles of the primary location. The schedule requires availability Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday, starting at 5 a.m., for at least 15 hours per week.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age.
Have a valid driver's license issued by the state of residence.
Have a positive, professional attitude; be self-motivated and able to work independently.
Be able to drive a personal vehicle with valid insurance to multiple store locations.
Be able to perform repetitive lifting, bending, and carrying up to 25 pounds, and occasionally push and pull over 50 pounds.
Be able to move products from stockrooms to store floors and stock store shelves.
Live within 25 miles of Thousand Oaks, California.
Be available Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday, starting at 5 a.m., for at least 15 hours per week.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or GED preferred.
Previous retail or grocery experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Represent Mondelēz in stores with professionalism, positivity, and a commitment to excellence.
Provide outstanding customer service to store teams and shoppers.
Conduct store visits according to Mondelēz DSD Merchandising Principles, including capturing display photos via DMI.
Build and maintain relationships with store personnel, including backroom receivers.
Stock shelves, rotate products, and maintain brand standards.
Set up promotional displays and follow plans negotiated by the RTM.
Follow daily schedules and priorities set by the RTM.
Support seasonal sales, new product launches, and high-visibility merchandising events.
Communicate store-level insights, issues, and opportunities to the RTM and retail team via Salesforce.
Work safely while lifting, bending, and moving products.
