Full-time Nabisco Merchandiser/Order Writer
About The Position
The Full-Time Nabisco Merchandiser/Order Writer is a frontline retail role representing Mondelēz International and its snack brands in stores. The role builds relationships with store personnel, stocks shelves, orders products, executes promotional displays, and helps keep products available and visible to shoppers. It involves daily store visits, following schedules and priorities set by the RTM, and communicating store-level insights and issues to management. The work is physically active and includes moving products from stockrooms to store floors and stocking shelves. The primary location is Santa Barbara, California, with secondary locations in Goleta and Ventura. The employee must live within a 25–35-mile range of the primary location and use a personally owned, insured vehicle to travel among stores; mileage is reimbursed. Schedule availability is required Monday through Friday, with weekends as required, and a 5 a.m. start time.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years old.
- Have a valid driver's license issued by the state of residence.
- Be able to drive a personal vehicle with valid insurance coverage to various store locations.
- Be self-motivated and able to work independently, with a positive and professional attitude.
- Be able to work in a fast-paced environment and perform repetitive lifting, bending, and carrying up to 25 pounds; occasionally push and pull over 50 pounds.
- Live within 25–35 miles of Santa Barbara, California.
- Have schedule availability Monday through Friday, with weekends as required, and a 5 a.m. start time.
Nice To Haves

- Previous retail or grocery experience is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Represent Mondelēz and its brands in stores with professionalism, positivity, and a commitment to excellence.
- Deliver customer service to store teams and shoppers.
- Conduct daily store visits following the DSD Merchandising Excellence approach, including capturing display photos via DMI.
- Build and maintain relationships with store personnel, including backroom receivers and store managers.
- Order products using an iPad and Salesforce to maintain in-stock conditions on shelves and displays.
- Implement promotional displays and ensure compliance with RTM-negotiated plans.
- Follow daily schedules and priorities set by the RTM.
- Support seasonal sales, new product launches, and high-visibility merchandising events.
- Communicate store-level insights, issues, and opportunities to the RTM and management team.
- Move products from stockrooms to store floors and stock store shelves while following safety requirements.
