Part Time Nabisco Merchandiser/Order Writer
About The Position
The Part-Time Nabisco Merchandiser/Order Writer represents Mondelēz International in stores and supports retail excellence for its snack brands. The role involves building relationships with store personnel, stocking products, executing displays and promotions, and maintaining product availability on shelves and displays. The merchandiser follows store-visit schedules and priorities, supports seasonal sales and product launches, and communicates store-level insights and issues to the RTM and management team. The position includes physical work such as moving products from stockrooms to store floors and stocking shelves.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- Have a valid driver's license issued by the state of residence.
- Be able to drive a personal vehicle with valid insurance to various store locations.
- Have a positive, professional attitude and be self-motivated and able to work independently.
- Be able to work in a fast-paced environment and perform repetitive lifting, bending, and carrying up to 25 pounds; occasionally push and pull over 50 pounds.
- Live within 25 miles of the primary location in Clanton, Alabama.
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous retail or grocery experience.
Responsibilities
- Represent Mondelēz in stores professionally and provide outstanding customer service to store teams and shoppers.
- Complete daily store visits in accordance with DSD Merchandising Excellence, including capturing display photos through DMI.
- Build and maintain relationships with store personnel, including backroom receivers and store managers.
- Order products using an iPad through Salesforce to maintain in-stock conditions on shelves and displays.
- Implement promotional displays and ensure compliance with RTM-negotiated store plans.
- Follow daily schedules and priorities set by the RTM.
- Support seasonal sales, new product launches, and high-visibility merchandising events.
- Communicate store-level insights, issues, and opportunities to the RTM and management team.
- Follow safety and compliance practices while lifting, bending, moving, and stocking products.
