About The Position

Mondelēz International is hiring a part-time Nabisco Merchandiser/Order Writer to represent its snack brands in retail stores. The role focuses on building relationships with store personnel, stocking shelves, executing displays, and maintaining product availability and visibility. The merchandiser serves as a company representative and the owner of the biscuit aisle, delivering professional and positive service to store teams and shoppers. The position involves visiting stores according to daily schedules and priorities set by the RTM, capturing display photos through DMI, and ordering products on an iPad using Salesforce. The merchandiser implements promotional displays and follows RTM-negotiated plans with stores, while supporting seasonal sales, product launches, and merchandising events. The role requires physical work, including moving products from stockrooms to store floors and stocking shelves. The primary location is Garden City, Kansas, with Dodge City, Kansas, listed as a secondary location. The schedule requires availability Sunday, Monday, Thursday, and Saturday, with a 6:00 a.m. start time and 25 hours per week. Hourly compensation is $18.50.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age.
Have a valid driver's license issued by the state of residence.
Have valid insurance coverage and be able to drive a personal vehicle to various store locations; mileage is reimbursed.
Be self-motivated and able to work independently, with a positive and professional attitude.
Be able to work in a fast-paced environment and perform repetitive lifting, bending, and carrying up to 25 pounds.
Occasionally push and pull more than 50 pounds.
Live within 25–35 miles of the primary location in Garden City, Kansas.
Be available Sunday, Monday, Thursday, and Saturday; the stated start time is 6:00 a.m.

Responsibilities

Represent Mondelēz and its brands professionally in stores and provide customer service to store teams and shoppers.
Visit stores and follow Mondelēz DSD Merchandising Excellence practices, including capturing display photos through DMI.
Build and maintain relationships with store personnel, including backroom receivers and store managers.
Order products using an iPad to maintain in-stock conditions for shelves and displays through Salesforce.
Implement promotional displays and comply with RTM-negotiated store plans.
Follow daily schedules and priorities set by the RTM.
Support seasonal sales, new product launches, and high-visibility merchandising events.
Communicate store-level insights, issues, and opportunities to the RTM and management team.
Move products from stockrooms to store floors and stock store shelves while following safety requirements.
