The NA Regional Planner, Fiber is responsible for developing and maintaining the North America fiber manufacturing supply and capacity plan of record as part of the monthly Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning (SiOP) process. This role requires close coordination with cross‑functional partners including the global supply chain team, commercial organization, production line managers, operations, engineering, and finance to ensure alignment between demand, capacity, and operational constraints. The planner analyzes manufacturing capabilities and translates business requirements into executable plans that support service, cost, and inventory objectives. In addition, this role supports the development, enhancement, and adoption of advanced planning tools to improve planning accuracy, visibility, and decision‑making across the organization. Our Optical Communications segment has recently evolved from being a manufacturer of optical fiber and cable, hardware and equipment to being a comprehensive provider of industry-leading optical solutions across the broader communications industry.This segment is classified into two main product groupings – carrier network and enterprise network. The carrier network product group consists primarily of products and solutions for optical-based communications infrastructure for services such as video, data and voice communications. The enterprise network product group consists primarily of optical-based communication networks sold to businesses, governments and individuals for their own use.
