About The Position
FirstHealth of the Carolinas is a nationally recognized health care system in central North Carolina, with four hospitals, more than 600 beds, and over 6,200 employees across more than 75 locations in a 15-county service area. The organization provides direct patient care and has received recognition for its patient care and outcomes. The NA II provides direct patient care under the supervision of a Nurse Supervisor, using skills within the scope of practice outlined by the Department of Health and Human Services, Division of Facility Services, and the NC Board of Nursing. Nursing Assistant Level II certification and AHA BLS are required.
Requirements
- Nursing Assistant Level II certification.
- AHA BLS certification.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Nurse Supervisor.
- Use skills within the scope of practice outlined by the Department of Health and Human Services, Division of Facility Services, and the NC Board of Nursing.
