About The Position
Provides direct patient care while working under the supervision of a Nursing Supervisor utilizing skills as outlined in the scope of practice by the Department of Human Services Division of Facility Services.
Requirements
- Completion of high school or its equivalent
- Successful completion of a Nurse Aide I Program certified by North Carolina Board of Nursing
- Current listing with NC Division of Facilities Services Registry
- AHA CPR
Responsibilities
- Transporting patients from the ED
- Monitor patients
- Getting patients placed in a bed
- Assist with Vital signs
- Bed turnover
- Trained in how to set up delivery tables
