About The Position

HOKALI is seeking passionate Musical Theatre Instructors to lead after-school programs in Miami, FL. The program runs from September through December 15, 2026, with classes held on Tuesdays for grades 1st-5th and Thursdays for Pre-K-K. Instructors will lead engaging, age-appropriate activities introducing students to acting, movement, music, performance, and theatrical expression in a fun, inclusive, and supportive environment. Responsibilities include ensuring student safety, managing behavior, maintaining records, and preparing materials.

Requirements

• 18+ years of age
• Ability and willingness to complete 3 hours of online training
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Lead engaging and age-appropriate Musical Theatre activities for students
• Introduce students to acting, movement, music, performance, and theatrical expression
• Create a fun, inclusive, and supportive environment that encourages creativity and confidence
• Supervise students and ensure their safety and well-being at all times
• Facilitate positive social interactions and encourage teamwork
• Effectively manage student behavior using positive reinforcement
• Maintain accurate attendance and incident records
• Prepare and organize activity materials, keeping spaces clean and safe
