About The Position

ViaQuest Community Solutions is hiring Board Certified Music Therapists (MT-BC) for statewide opportunities across Indiana. The role serves individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, traumatic brain injuries, and Autism Spectrum Disorder. Music Therapists provide evidence-based, person-centered services in home and community settings, with hybrid opportunities in Muncie and Lafayette. The organization offers flexible scheduling and assigns referrals close to therapists’ homes whenever possible.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Music Therapy.
• Board Certification (MT-BC).
• Valid Indiana driver's license.
• Reliable transportation and proof of automobile insurance.
• Willingness to travel throughout the assigned service area.
• Compassionate and person-centered approach.
• Self-motivated and independent.
• Organized, with excellent time management skills.
• Detail-oriented, with exceptional follow-through.
• Professional, dependable, and reliable.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized music therapy services in home and community settings.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, families, caregivers, and other providers.
• Develop and implement person-centered treatment plans using a strengths-based clinical approach.
• Support communication, social interaction, emotional regulation, coping skills, motor development, cognitive functioning, attention and focus, body awareness, and coordination.
• Use music to promote neurological functioning, improve communication between the brain and body, and encourage purposeful movement.
• Maintain accurate documentation and participate as an active member of each individual's support team.
