About The Position

We’re seeking a compassionate, credentialed Music Therapist to join our team in a fully remote, part-time role (approximately 4–5 hours per month), supporting students virtually. Requirements

Certification from the Certification Board for Music Therapists (CB-MT)
At least 1–2 years of experience providing music therapy to children or adolescents
Reliable internet connection and professional remote workspace
Experience working with students with diverse needs and abilities
Comfort using teletherapy platforms and tools for virtual engagement
Availability for approx. 4–5 hours/month, including documentation

Nice To Haves

Experience in school settings or with IEP goal alignment
Familiarity with special education processes and student services
Creative and flexible approach to remote engagement
Strong communication and collaboration skills

Responsibilities

Conduct initial assessments to determine therapy needs and goals
Plan and deliver engaging, individualized or group virtual music therapy sessions
Use music-based interventions to support communication, motor skills, emotional regulation, and social development
Document session outcomes and progress toward goals
Collaborate with school teams, caregivers, and MIYO Health staff as needed
Contribute to IEP development and updates, when appropriate
