The Music Therapist is responsible for assessing, designing, implementing, and evaluating evidence-based music therapy interventions that address the psychosocial, emotional, physiological, and physical needs of patients and families. This role develops and manages individualized treatment plans, maintains accurate clinical documentation, collaborates with interdisciplinary healthcare teams, contributes to program development and growth initiatives, and educates staff on the therapeutic benefits of music therapy while upholding departmental standards and professional practice requirements. Primarily serving adult patients in palliative and end-of-life contexts.
