About The Position
This role involves conducting virtual music therapy sessions, teaching guitar, facilitating songwriting, leading mindfulness exercises, and coordinating virtual retreat programs. The Music Therapist will document clinical services, collaborate with various professionals, manage program logistics, and support participant recruitment.
Requirements
- Board-Certified Music Therapist (MT-BC)
- Experience in substance use disorder treatment (preferred)
- Experience in group facilitation and virtual instruction
- Strong skills in guitar instruction
- Strong skills in songwriting or music composition
- Knowledge of trauma-informed care and mindfulness practices
Nice To Haves
- Experience working with veterans or clinical populations
- Program management or project coordination experience
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems
Responsibilities
