About The Position

Music & Arts is seeking a skilled musician and educator to teach private music lessons and inspire students. The Music Teacher creates an engaging, supportive, and safe learning environment for students of varying ages and skill levels. The role includes building relationships with students and parents, communicating regularly about goals and progress, and partnering with store teams to schedule lessons and encourage student retention. Music & Arts handles administrative work so instructors can focus on teaching.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Music Education, Music Performance, or equivalent experience.
• At least 2 years of music teaching experience.

Nice To Haves

• Advanced degree (Master’s or Doctoral) in Music.
• Professional teaching memberships or certifications.
• 8 or more years of teaching experience, especially with multiple instruments.

Responsibilities

• Teach music lessons to students of varying ages and skill levels.
• Build positive relationships with students and parents through regular communication, goal-setting, and progress updates.
• Partner with store teams to schedule lessons and encourage student retention.
