About The Position

Saint Patrick Academy is seeking a faith-filled, energetic educator to serve as the Music Teacher. Saint Patrick Academy (SPA) is a co-educational Independent Catholic school serving students from Pre-K 3 through 8th grade in Portsmouth, NH. The Music Teacher will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive music program that fosters a love of music, creativity, and performance among students. This includes general music instruction, vocal and/or instrumental direction, and opportunities for student performances within the school community.

Requirements

• Excellent oral and written communication skills with both colleagues and the community
• Experience teaching music to elementary and/or middle school students
• Passion for engaging young learners through music
• Skills in curriculum development and instruction
• Meaningful skill with technology to create authentic learning experiences
• Supportive of the Catholic mission
• Excited to work in a faith-based environment

Responsibilities

• Developing and implementing a comprehensive music program
