About The Position

At The Ecclesial Schools, we are expanding access to classical Christian education through our growing network of neighborhood schools in metro Orlando. Each day, we invite children from diverse economic backgrounds into rich learning atmospheres, offering them a classical curriculum and engaging them in formative Christian practices. We provide dedicated training and support from academic coaches—including training in classical education for great teachers who are new to the classical curriculum—while offering competitive salary and benefits. We are looking for skilled, joyful, and dedicated educators to join our faculty. Position Description Music teachers: Bring our mission and vision to life each day by preparing engaging lessons and learning activities, cultivating a rich classroom atmosphere, building relationships with students and their parents, and committing to growing professionally as part of a faculty of friends. Engage students in a general music education focused on voice, particularly using a conversational solfege and Kodaly approach. Lead two major musical events each school year: a festival of lessons and carols for Christmas and a springtime concert that showcases student learning and performance. Continue awakening wonder and helping students form the habits of heart and mind that will support their growth in wisdom and virtue. Care deeply about their students' spiritual formation and are missional about shaping and forming hearts and minds. Help lead singing during morning prayer each morning, eager to start the day with students in prayer. Affirm our Statement of Faith and are actively involved in their church and Christian community. Requirements

  • Excellent Candidates Demonstrate a genuine love for God, children, learning, and for great music.
  • Are proficient on the piano to accompany singing.
  • Hold a BA or higher degree
  • Bring 3-5 years of experience, ideally within a classical Christian school.
  • Have explored our website and resonate deeply with our christian faith, mission and vision.

  • The base starting salary for our teachers is $48,500 ($51,625 for MA)
