About The Position

Music & Arts is seeking a skilled musician and dedicated educator to teach private music lessons and inspire students. The Music Teacher creates an engaging, supportive, and safe learning environment for students of varied ages and skill levels. The role focuses on teaching and student development, while Music & Arts handles administrative work. The teacher works with store teams to schedule lessons and support student retention, and communicates with students and parents about goals and progress.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Music Education, Music Performance, or equivalent experience.
• At least 2 years of music teaching experience.

Nice To Haves

• Advanced degree (Master’s or Doctoral) in Music.
• Professional teaching memberships or certifications.
• 8 or more years of teaching experience, especially with multiple instruments: banjo, baritone, bass clarinet, bass guitar, bassoon, cello, clarinet, flute, French horn, guitar, mandolin, oboe, percussion, piano, piccolo, saxophone, string bass, trombone, trumpet, tuba, ukulele, viola, violin, and voice.

• Partner with store teams to schedule lessons and encourage student retention.
