About The Position
Ensemble Schools is seeking fun, experienced, and professional instrumental substitute teachers to teach part-time at Cappella Academy in Tacoma, WA. The role involves instructing students in person, with a high demand for piano, guitar, bass, drums, violin, and voice instructors. The ability to teach multiple instruments is a plus. Substitute teachers will be contacted for scheduling gaps in main teacher's schedules, and preference will be given to candidates with greater availability due to the value of consistency for students and staff. Successful candidates will possess a strong music background (degree in performance or equivalent experience), a passion for teaching, experience with young musicians, punctuality, reliable transportation, and the ability to pass a background check.
Requirements
- Strong music background evidenced by a degree in instrumental or vocal performance or equivalent performing experience.
