Music Ensembles Coordinator
About The Position
Ensemble assistants primarily help with setup and strike for Music Department rehearsals and concerts. This includes setting up chairs and music stands, copying music, and more. The Choir Manager assists the director in organizing logistical matters related to the choir. The manager helps to plan the choir's annual tour, and arranges various logistical aspects of the tour in coordination with the director and the technical associate for the music department. Since the choir manager helps with the tour while the tour is underway, the choir manager needs to be a member of the choir. All applicants must be participating members of the relevant ensemble.
Requirements
- Must be a participating member of the relevant ensemble
- Excellent organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Able to direct the work of others
- Detail oriented
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and/or other relevant technologies
