About The Position

The Chapman Radio Music Director will oversee the music direction of the organization.

Requirements

• Have a broad and open taste in music.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
• Basic understanding of radio operations with a willingness to learn new technical skills.
• Previous involvement with Chapman Radio or comparable media/broadcasting experience.

Responsibilities

• Work and train the Assistant Music Director.
• Maintain and build contacts with labels, managers, and artists.
• Update programming for the AF stream.
• Constantly be on the lookout for underground music and new releases.
