About The Position

This full-time position involves applying knowledge of music items and videos to buying, processing, and selling such products, continuously incorporating positive customer-focused strategies. The role requires a minimum of 32 hours per week with open availability on Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday, working five shifts per week.

Requirements

• Superior knowledge in buying, processing, and selling music & video formats
• Superior knowledge of music & video formats, grading standards, and collecting trends
• General knowledge of comic books
• Excellent communication and customer service skills with motivation to serve the public
• Ability to use reference materials
• General knowledge of products sold at Bookmans
• Knowledge of store sections and layout

Responsibilities

• Apply knowledge of music items and videos to buying, processing, and selling such products, continuously incorporating positive customer-focused strategies.
• Evaluate merchandise for purchase at the incoming counter.
• Explain and negotiate deals with customers.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
