Requirements
- A Master of Fine Arts degree, or a degree from a related field.
- Strong teaching skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with students and colleagues.
Nice To Haves
- Significant experience in college instruction.
- Successful experience teaching adults in a post-secondary institution.
- Excellent communication skills in multicultural settings.
- Familiarity with online modes of delivery.
Responsibilities
- Plans classes and implements and evaluates teaching/learning objectives and student learning outcomes.
- Undertakes the divisional and professional responsibilities of a part-time faculty member, including office hours.
- Provide instruction in introductory Music Appreciation courses with a focus on American Music from the late-19th century to the present.
