About The Position
The Music Department at Jefferson Community & Technical College has an opening for a part-time instructor to teach one section of MUS 100 Intro to Music at the UPS Location in Louisville, KY for the Spring 2027 semester.
Requirements
- Good foundational music teaching skills with the ability to communicate effectively with the student population.
- Master of Music degree with 18 graduate hours in music with one year college teaching experience.
Nice To Haves
- Master of Music degree with multiple years of teaching music history/appreciation at the college level.
Responsibilities
- Organizing and implementing course curriculum with successful classroom management.
- Proficiency with Blackboard learning delivery system.
