About The Position

This role will work remotely but must reside within the United States. You will drive automation solutions within the municipal water and wastewater industry. You will plan, develop, and implement marketing strategies and programs to increase profitability for distributor market share of our CLT offerings within North America.

Requirements

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A natural drive to succeed and be very well organized
  • A high level of technical automation competence to support customer and company needs
  • An understanding of rep management, know your territory, and be able to build relationships

Nice To Haves

  • A 2-year technical degree or 4-year bachelor’s degree in a related field and 7-10 years of experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Building and maintaining relationships with current and potential customers through meetings, emails or phone calls to meet or exceed established sales goals.
  • Promote SJE’s Controls and Level Sensing Technologies (CLT) products within the municipal water and wastewater industry.
  • Work with customers to find solutions to their problems.
  • Conduct in-house and out-of-house product training for employees, distributors and end users.
  • Analyze market trends to identify new product ideas and work with the Product Management and Marketing Teams to develop value propositions & case studies.
  • Plan/represent SJE at regional and national trade shows.
  • Develop and plan regional and national distribution meetings across the region.
