The Municipal Engineering Manager is a senior leadership role overseeing engineering services for Municipal Utility Districts (MUDs), Water Control and Improvement Districts (WCIDs), utility districts, and other local governmental entities throughout Texas. The manager serves as a trusted advisor to district boards, developers, utility operators, attorneys, and agency stakeholders, and oversees planning, design, construction, operation, and long-term management of water, wastewater, drainage, and other infrastructure systems. The role leads client relationships, provides strategic guidance on district operations and capital improvements, oversees multidisciplinary project teams, and supports business growth in the municipal utility district market. It combines technical expertise, project leadership, client management, and knowledge of the regulatory, financial, and operational challenges facing utility districts and municipal infrastructure owners. The position operates in a hybrid office and field environment. It routinely uses standard office equipment and may involve occasional exposure to inclement weather, heat, humidity, noise, hazards, atmospheric conditions, and bodies of water, depending on project requirements. Physical demands include frequent sitting, moving, standing, talking, and hearing; occasional balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, handling, grasping, and feeling; and occasional company vehicle operation and lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling up to 35 pounds.
